Links of Interest for SF/Fantasy Authors Science Fiction Writers of America, while I'm not likely to ever join their organization-- I've no current plans to ever submit my work to any NYC publisher-- they do have some good information on their site.

One of the most comprehensive batches of advice for aspiring SF and fantasy authors written by well respected authors in those genre. Lots of the articles have applications for any writer of any genre.

An article that appeared many years ago. It was written by Poul Anderson it addresses many of the mistakes typically found in Heroic Fantasy/Sword and Sorcery fantasy. I mention this one specifically as it really got me thinking as a kid when I was learning the craft of writing and worldbuilding.
